Are Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani the latest B-Town couple?
Kiara Advani has officially become a member of the coveted 'Dharma' gang. After winning attention with her 'arousing' performance in Karan Johar's directorial in Netflix's anthology film 'Lust Stories', the actress has not only bagged a role in Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay Kumar starrer 'Good News' but has also reportedly been finalised to play Sidharth Malhotra's love-interest in the upcoming Vikram Batra biopic.
Now we hear, that the actress is also closing up to one of Karan's closest friends and first 'student' Sidharth. Rumours about Sid dating Kiara have been doing the rounds in inner circles but they grew stronger after he attended her birthday bash on July 31. The two have been close buddies for a while now.
"Sid and Kiara are always connected with each other through their phones and love spending time together. The duo has earlier been snapped at Karan Johar’s residence a few times when all of them get together for dinners and apparently sparks flew between them at one of these parties," a Filmfare report stated.
Everything seems to be at a very nascent stage now. None of the sides have made anything public about the increasing closeness. However when Sidharth was asked to comment on it in a recent interview, the actor said, “Nahi yaar. I met her only once at Karan Johar’s party. After that I have not met her at all.”
Sidharth's ex Alia Bhatt has moved on with Ranbir Kapoor, but he has been single for a while now. He was said to have been dating Jacqueline Fernandez but that clearly didn't last for a long time. Kiara, too, hasn't been linked with anyone else before this. So, we wouldn't really be surprised if these reports actually turn out to be true.
