Gurugram: Four, including year-old infant, found dead in home

In a shocking incident, four members of a family were found dead in their Gurugram home.

According to a Zee News report, three members were found dead in the house, while the fourth - an infant - died in hospital.

The incident was reported from Brijpura village in Pataudi, the ancestral home of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. Pataudi is located some 50 kilometres from Gurugram.

According to the police, a woman's body was found hanging. Two other bodies - a male and female - were lying on the flood.

Preliminary investigations state that the family consisted of an elderly mother, son, daughter-in-law and their year-old child.

Some reports suggested that the daughter-in-law killed the mother-in-law and husband and later committed suicide. However, authorities are yet to verify these facts.

An investigation has been launched into the matter.
