Experience life of an IIM-A student at Rs 2,249
College students can now experience the life of a student of India's best B-school, the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. As part of an annual flagship event 'A day at IIM-A', students across the city who wish to experience life at IIM-A, attend classes, solve live cases and study under IIM-A professors for a day will be able to do so for a mere fee of Rs 2,249.
The event has been organised by Prayaas, a social initiative by IIM-A on October 2, and the proceeds from this event are directed towards the education of Prayaas kids.
The event will begin with participants to be taken through IIM-A's flagship Post Graduate Programme meant for first-year students. The day will begin at 7.30 am and will comprise of lectures, case discussions and practical exercises by four of IIM-A's professors to acquaint the participants with the case pedagogy used here.
Group activities will also be organised to reflect the dynamics of group learning and some surprises, along with a tour of the red brick walled campus. A special session will be held with over 100 kids from Prayaas.
Started in 2011, the event saw a footfall of over 70 participants last year. Currently, Prayaas supports over 100 children within the IIM-A campus.
