With Janmasthami arriving and several parts of India receiving rainfall to mark the birth of Lord Krishna, social media has been flooded with WhatsApp messages. Twitter, too, has been flooded with people messaging one another on the occasion of Lord Krishna's birthday.
There are, however, reports that also say that Lord Krishna's birthday will be on Monday. Several offices have been shut for these celebrations.
Meanwhile, preparations are in full swing at the Sri Krishna Janmasthan temple in Mathura to celebrate Lord Krishna's birthday, on September 3.
The temple would witness a congregation of several lakh pilgrims on the occasion of Janmashtami.
Keeping that in mind, here are some messages to share on Janmasthami

Happiness is not out there for us to find. The reason that it's not out there is that it's inside us. May this Janmashtami bring happiness into your life. Enjoy the festival with love in your heart and good wishes for others.
Do everything you have to do, but not with greed, not with ego, not with lust, not with envy but with love, compassion, humility and devotion. Happy Janmashtami
May the Natkhat Nandlal always give you many reasons to be happy & you find peace in Krishna consciousness. Happy Janmashtami
May Lord Krishna, the symbol of peace and love fill up your life with love and joy! Happy Janmashtami to all of you!
On the day celebrating His birth, remembering the God who gave the world the most practical wisdom, that is relevant even today! Lord Krishna - the most human of them all! Happy Janmashtami! May we all focus on our efforts and leave the rest to the hands of God!
Maakhan hai jiska priya bhog,
Jiski bansi ki dhun se mite sab shok ,Janamdin hai aaya jiska,
Woh hai natkhat Nandkishore!!
May Lord Krishna steal your tensions and worries on Janmashtami and give you love, peace and happiness.
In a world of duality- teachings from the Supreme are Absolute. Shree Krishna teaches us true devotion--with Radharani as the epitome of selfless service and in chanting the Maha mantra- we offer ourselves for his Service. Happy Janmashtami
