Kurla Firing Case: 2 half-brothers held, 2 on the run

In connection with the daylight firing of history-sheeter Janu Pawar alias Billa alias Mehmud Khan by his half brothers in the first week of March, the VB Nagar police in Kurla who have already booked three accused in the case has added up one more name in the FIR. The accused quadruple have been identified as Vinod Pawar, Baba Pawar, Raju Pawar and Dhanbaba Pawar out of which Baba and Dhanbaba are on the run so far. At the time of the incident, the police had considered personal revenge as the motive behind the murder, but further investigation has revealed that the accused men wanted the possession of a small portion of the property which is in the name of Billa's mother.
