BJP to introspect Panaji bypoll defeat, says Parrikar's son

Utpal Parrikar's son said that the loss of the Panaji Assembly seat to Congress leader Atanasio Monserratte, which was held by his father for long, needs to be introspected. The Congress nominee defeated BJP candidate Siddharth Kunkolienkar by a margin of over 1,700 votes in the seat. The seat was held by the BJP for 25 years.
