India to finance Maldives' biggest-ever infrastructure project to connect 4 islands

The project will connect capital Malé with Villingili, Thilafushi and Gulhifalhu via bridges and causeways of the total length of 6.695 kilometres. India will provide funding of US $500 million for the project which that will increase connectivity in the country.
