OnePlus has now rolled out OxygenOS 5.0.6 update for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. Additionally, the company is also rolling out the September Android security patch. The update will be available via OTA (over-the-air).

The company announced in a blog post, “We are starting to push the incremental roll-out of OxygenOS 5.0.6 for the OnePlus 3 & 3T. This build contains general bug fixes and improvements.”

You can manually update your phone by going to Settings > System updates and tapping the Check for Updates button from the bottom-right of the screen.

In terms of specifications, the OnePlus 3T features a 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display with a 1080x1920 pixels resolution. It includes Gorilla Glass 4 for protection. It is powered by a 2.35GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor paired with 6GB RAM and Adreno 530. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Oxygen OS, the device comes equipped with a 16MP rear camera with a Sony IMX298 sensor, OIS and PDAF autofocus along with a 16MP front facing camera with a Samsung 3P8SP sensor. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC AND GPS and Type-C. A 3400mAh battery completes the package.

On the other hand, the OnePlus 3 features an aluminium unibody, just 7.3mm thick. It packs a 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080) AMOLED display at 401ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It has a 16MP f2.0 rear camera with OIS and 4K video capability, and an 8MP f/2.0 front cam. It also features an Alert Slider on the right spine, to quickly set your phone’s sound profile.

The phone has a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It packs 6GB of DDR4 RAM and 64GB internal storage. The OnePlus 3 is powered by a 3000mAh battery with the company’s new Dash Charge technology. Not only does it use a custom charging cable, but OnePlus says the technology can get the phone to 60 percent (a full day’s battery) in 30 minutes.

The device runs the company’s own OxygenOS, out of the box. It has dual nano-SIM and 4G LTE support. It also has a fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button.
