PM Narendra Modi to attend closing ceremony of Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra in Pushkar
Prime minister Narendra Modi will be in Pushkar assembly constituency of Ajmer division for the closing ceremony of the Gaurav Yatra which started on August 2. Chief minister Vasundhara Raje reached Ajmer on Friday to take stock of preparations for the closing ceremony to be held on October 6, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the public.
CM Raje said that a bigger place was needed to accommodate a gathering that is expected to have lakhs of people and this is the reason why Kayad Vishram Sthali has been chosen as the venue. During her time in Ajmer, many MLAs including minister Yunus Khan, Anita Bhadel and Vasudev Devnani also reached the venue and briefed the chief minister about the preparations underway.
PM Modi will first reach Pushkar and offer prayers at Jagatpita Brahma. The public representatives of each assembly constituency have been given a target to drive people to be a part of the PM’s address. The district administration has also issued an alert regarding the visit of the PM Modi so that the maximum number of people can attend the program at Kayad Vishram Sthal. The party has intensified the preparations.
Chief minister Vasundhara Raje is at present touring Ajmer division as part of her yatra and reached Tonk on Friday. Speaking at a public meeting, Raje like always underscored the works done by the state government in the area and across the state in last four years.
Raje’s main focus was on informing the people about the various works of infrastructure development which had taken place in Tonk.
She thanked the people who had come to attend the public meeting and said that like a head of a family she will not let the people of state down.
