Ticket aspirant’s banners upset CM Vasundhara Raje during Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra

Chief minister Vasundhara Raje  scolded the supporters of a ticket aspirant right from the dais during public meeting in Asind on Saturday. At almost every public meeting of Raje during Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra, the ticket aspirants have been indulging in a show of strength with their supporters carrying the banners bearing their names.

On Saturday, while the chief minister was addressing public in Asind (Bhilwara), supporters of a ticket aspirant raised his banners. This perturbed Raje who said that she was not able to see the banner as she was not wearing spectacles, but made it clear that such things will not help in getting party ticket. Later when she asked the public to raise slogans in support of BJP after her speech, she pointed towards the supporters whom she had scolded earlier and said that she wants to hear them raising slogans in support of BJP.

Earlier at the start of her public meeting, Raje said that she had been seeing the saints since the morning and said that she has  fulfilled the promise of making panorama at Sawai Bhoj temple, which she visit as soon as her helicopter landed at Asind. It was from here that she went for the public meeting. Addressing the meeting, Raje said that she was daughter of Rajputs, daughter-in-law of Jats and “samdhan” of Gurjars. Asind is a Gurjar dominated area and Sawai Bhoj was the father of Lord Devnarayan who is considered the folk deity of Gurjars. 

Raje said that she was happy to see so many women at the meeting. Informing that she had met the saints in the morning, she said that opposition makes fun of her believing too much in gods.

She said she was proud to say that without offering prayers to  god she did no work and because of blessings of saints she was here. Raje later left for Karera for her second public meeting in Bhilwara.

Raje said that she was not able to see the banner as she was not wearing spectacles, but made it clear that such things will not help in getting party ticket. Later, she pointed towards the supporters whom she had scolded earlier and said that she wants to hear them raising slogans in support of BJP.
