Ahmedabad: 23-year-old girl threatened for being a migrant

A 23-year-old girl lodged a complaint with the Sabarmati Riverfront (West) Police station on Wednesday after she was allegedly abused and threatened to be killed for being a migrant in the state.

The incident took place at around 9 pm near the Keshwarnagar area near Sabarmati Railway bridge. The complaint was lodged by Pratima Kori, a resident of Keshwarnagar area.

She told police that four unknown men waylaid and abused her while she was returning home from work.

They allegedly said, "You Bhaiyaji should leave this house and state, otherwise, we will kill you".

The four continued threatening her, till she got inside the house. After the incident took place she called he fiance for help and later the police was called.
