Sri Lanka Air Force’s art team visits Jodhpur

A team of 63 personnel from the Sri Lanka Air Force Performing Arts Team visited the Air Force Station in Jodhpur on Thursday. 

Formed in 1988, the team has performed in various countries which include Italy, France, Russia, China, Pakistan, Korea and Australia. The group presented an enthralling performance of music and dance extravaganza at the Air Force station.

The programme began with a Sri Lankan Megul Sera Pooja Dance followed by various traditional dances, songs and musical performance in Hindi, Tamil, Sinhalese and English, strengthening the cultural bonds between the two countries.  

Air Commodore Philip Thomas, Air Officer Commanding, was the chief guest along with 2500 air warriors and their families who witnessed the event.
